This^^^. You have ta which is the heaviest of the fbodys. My camaro weighs right at 3480 and I've seen ws6's push high 35xx. Still though 100lbs is only going to be roughly 1 mph so I wouldnt worry. Adam is right though My car weighed 3480 bone stock

. And I had it weighed the other day still at 3480 however there is a stereo system in it now with a sub an amp and a replacement jl amp for the monsoon system and new speakers. Just taking the sub box and amp out netted me -65lbs. So I'm at 3415 when I go to the track which is lighter than stock but literally nothing taken out.

Very very doable. Good luck!

Notch's mild bolt-on ls1 did 11.96 @ 116.xx. The t56 was nicked up a bit not allowing clean shifts. If not for that a we woulda probably seen a 11.8 @ 117
I know its do able and he can drive. Just have to wait for good weather since its starting to get 90+ out here. Remember his car is heavy. I bet its 3600-3650 race weight so if he got it down to notches weight then he'd easily go deep in the 11s.

I can def see it happening. Guy can drive! I rarely say this lol.

ls1rob you should try and go as far as possible with a bolt on setup and then drop some internal mods into it down the road and itll be ever so worth it when you do. That's what i plan on doing, i put off doing a H/C and just bought **** to lighten up my car and some bolt ons.

Yea really though. We need to get my car on a scale and see what it weighs. To be honest I think my car can hit 11's exactly how it sits, just need good weather and a little better of a 60'. Should have no problem hitting 11.9ish

Yea I feel the love, always see you clown on ppl for driving. Glad I made the cut lol.

That's exactly what I want to do. Hit 11's how it sits right now, then do a few more things to it and see what I can get out of it.

The car still doesn't have UDP, has a stock LS6 intake etc. There is a little power left on the table. It also has almost nothing for suspension, just basic UMI LCA's and panhard. Doesn't have relo brackets, or a tq arm.

With little more weight pulled, hooking better and maybe a little more power I could see 11.8@115 for sure like Bayareass said. Then go cam only, H/C etc and look for 10's.

His car is a lot more then a h/c car (chris1313).....but with the way his car runs he'll def run 10s with h/c. That's not that hard actually

Lol curious to what the whole setup is, weight, power mods, suspension etc. You can PM me if you don't want to post it
nothing major really. A little of this and a little of that. Suspension was 130k stock, a ported ls6 intake me and friends did years ago, one of the new 7.25" spec clutch's, a little porting on a set 00 exhaust mani's and about 200lb of weight reduction. 3.73 gears

Yea they do some tricky stuff I think lol. I would definitely be out of gear though, right now I run out right around 115mph.
This is one reason you don't put 4.10's in these cars. At 105mph your already past your power peak. You can't make it go over 115 if your max speed is 115 in 4th.

The '02 WS6 had a passenger the '01 did not. However, there was still a 40HP difference between them, makes me wonder what else is up there.

Passenger and full weight. Not sure if Rob had any weight reduction beyond standard spare tire removal. Real world racing vs dyno racing, something many cannot grasp. Regardless run whatcha brung and he beat me convincingly.

We'll have to run em again for sure, and hopefully i can figure out why i'm trapping so low.

4.10s seem to work pretty good in my car

Lots of traffic to be pulling those races. Noticed two of the races got cut short due to traffic.

So what did I miss?? Bolt-on LS1 out runs cammed LS1....cammed LS1 is slightly faster than H/C SRT8. A little educated guess puts the bolt-on LS1 w/4.10s ahead of the SRT8 fairly easily.

Ls1rob - car runs well for bolt-ons. Lowering and tint will make it look better, but not perform any better, lol!

It was at the track two weeks ago and ran 12.0. It could of went a little faster but that was his first time out in a long time so he was getting back into the swing of things. Plus the head wind wasn't helping. It def can run 11.90s the way it sits.

Thanks man, it came down to the R8, Maserati Granturismo or the 911 Turbo

inB4 the why no 13' GT500, ZR1 crowd. The R8 isn't the fastest thing but overall its a great car and fun as hell to drive. Only runs I've had so far are a chopper from a dig at a light and a bentley GT from a roll lol

Honestly I love the R8 look... Who cares if it doesn't make 600rwhp and run 10s. You spend most of your time idling around anyways.
