Damn good runs, i enjoyed it. love seeing what the coyote 5.0's are really doing on the streets.

Is there a weight difference between a "11 & '14 5.0?

Different front bumper, hood, rear lights and bumper. Some minor changes to engine. They rated the 13/14 @420 hp. But on dyno havent shown any more power

This G8 trapped 114-115 last night at the track. Not sure what the DA was.

The Camaro has an LS3 (manual trans) which is 6.2 and the G8 has a 6.0 like the LS2 but with DOD valvetrain.

The G8 GXP has an LS3 without DOD and is available with auto or manual trans.

I think he only got 1 pass, 12.38 @ 114...his best is 12.30, all on street tires.

Redhotg8 I was talking about the ls2 swap camaro from bowtie productions that traps 114 on bolt ons ... I know what the new camaros run I own one myself

Wssick I run 12.23 @ 114 on street tires so me and that g8 would be a good pass if he was local, with my drag pack (bogarts all around) I run a 12.0 @ 115.76 with bolt ons only ... I am starting to think 5.0s arent much faster than the L99s lol btw thats with a stock stall and stock gearing

like i said... G8 runs good. Runs just like SRZs actually. 5.0s however... seem meh to me.
