Back in the 90s I had a C4 Corvette with LTs, otherwise stock. I was headed back to work when I ended up at the light behind two ricers about to race. They were revving their over grown exhaust at each other. They took off barely moving, it was a shame. I couldn't help myself. I hammered it, went around both of them while waving out of my targa and didn't let of until they were out of sight. I would have loved to see the looks on their faces or the many behind us that saw it happen.

This reminds me of one I had a while back. I was looking to go to this meet out in the desert somewhere. I knew it was pretty high stakes stuff so I wanted to get the inside scoop on the cars. I ended up snooping around this guys shop for a bit even though I wasn't supposed to be there. These guys were running Hondas with spoon engines! And on top of that, he had just gone into Harry's and ordered 3 T66 turbos... with NOS. And a Motec system exhaust. I wasn't about to race them after that. My friend did lose his car in a pinks race though. Fool was running a honda 2000.
