Good kill either way. Evo had a hell of a lot of mods vs an LS2 with intake, headers and cutouts

Its hard as hell to hear due to the GTO's cutout, but I think you're right. Sounds like the Evo let out the clutch too quick and the rpms drop way down at the launch. An equally good launch on the Evo would've made for a very close run at the end.
