I get that, if they were two closely matched vehicles. They arent tho. Not even close. In reality what does a bolt on + 150 shot 5.0 actually run?? 13's? High 12's on a hero run? It ran a ZL1 that should be capable of clicking off high 9's.

Just a few races ago that ZL1 ran the white TA in 504 Racer's sig. Just to show you what "class" its capable of running in.

From what I've seen the 5.0s run in the upper 14s with the ecoboosts alittle quicker. I'm not sure how the modded 5.0s run but the ecoboosts can get well into the 13s. It seems most of the ecoboost equipped models will run deep into the 13s modded. I'm actually going shopping this weekend for an explorer sport so hopefully I'll find out soon.

Good video from the take off line that truck is nasty no doubt but maybe next time we can a video at the finish line as well! that truck had to have some serious mods going on to beat a that Zl1 just saying and if im not mistaking those eco boost motors are very stout. I think they are twin turbo v6's and theres a rally car with that motor and that car put the Viper ACR-X to shame. The eco boost has the potential if built right but thats every engine really.

This car is nothing more than that. No aftermarket blower. No 2nd power adder. Basically a h/c, bolt on ZL1...

The saddest part is the owner of the ZL1 had a cam only 150 shot C6Z06 that lost maybe one or two races out there. He got rid of it in favor of a auto to be more consistent but can't win a race to save his life now. Please get another vette BLKBTCH (Mr 427)!!!

Oh and I know the owner of the Trans Am too. It is a 427 LS3 but it needs some work and some real tires for digs. That car has been through a lot and he's looking to replace it with a viper or corvette.

Truck is definitely in 4WD or 4Auto to hook like that! Was definitely being reeled in and certainly jumped to hole shot each time. Still a quick truck, would like to know mods and what it runs in the 1/4.

Won't ever happen due to distance, but I would like to run against this truck or similar with my old '03 Silverado SS.

My lil brother has an old 85 Chevy pick up nothin special really all he has is an camper 454 right now but he is gonna build it when he gets back from boot camp then itll be something special lol. It hauls *** tho as it is right now, he broke 3 10 bolts by just doing burn outs then he upgraded to a 14 bolt semi floater a while back and now he leaves a good 20 ft drag marks all the time

The ZL1 was on street tires, not sure if that was clarified or not.. But it did not hook up until the top of second, then it started rolling..

Iam the driver of the truck! You bring that 6.2 truck with stock idle and valve train ill bust that tired bitch up!!!! STR8 like that.... You can bolt the world on to it.... The flashers was on so people know on the start line who won.. He got me barley with a H/C/zl1.. He called me out and my camaro is down... So we grabbed the next best thing sitting around, a ford truck we just got two weeks ago. We grudge race down here so mod list is no need for. Btw its a 5.0...
