2011 5.0 vs Gto/Wrx & Mach 1 vs Cummins

good video and good race
keep it going
i wouldnt say thats extensively modded
to a rookie reading that long useless mod list then yes
but if you really break it down, the the only power mods that worth mentioning
vf39 sti turbo
cobb 3 port bcs, FIC 1100cc injectors
sti tmic
PnP intake manifold
grimmspeed EWG uppipe
invidia bellmouth downpipe
cobb cat back with a cutout in it.
that modlist is basicly full exhaust/full intake and stock STi turbo with your typical fuel and boost controller supporting mod
its basicly like a bolt on STi
keep it going
So e good friends getting some runs in this weekend. Buddy with the 350z traded off for this 3:73 optioned m6 5.0
Gto is a ms3 cam only that put down 432/418 iirc but it is on a stock clutch and it shows. He shut down early every time when he started pulling.
Subie is pretty extensively modded

I agree the Suby is not that modded ! Over injected for what he has set up maybe but with a built block, PnP heads, a better IC and a 20g with some tuning it could be much faster. He would have to upgrade the tranny with those mods to at least a STi tranny to support the power.

TGV deletes
Phenolic spacers 8 mill
Grimmspeed PnP stock exhaust manifold with hi flow crosspipe ceramic coated wrapped
these are pretty important mods as well. more air flowing and a cooler charge all leads to more power...along with pulleys...every little bit counts

not over injected on a 50%idc just waiting for a e85 tune.... and will probley shell the five speed shortly after the swap to it... then yes either a built five speed or six...

thats pretty crazy man
must not be alot action in your area then
TGV deletes has not been proven to make any damn power specially how that tiny turbo is being pushed
the bigger cross-pipe in theory should make more power, but bigger is always not better, the stock ones works perfectly fine, and no one has really proven that it has gain over stock
coating/and keep everything cool does not create power, all it does is help the car be consistent, pulls after pulls,
to be honest that turbo is not even being pushed to the limits where this extra cost will actually help you, since your doing quick straight line pulls
lighter serpentine pulley/flywheel, sure it has its advantage, faster rev, but theres also a draw back, some say you lose torque, but i never seen or heard anyone make more power with drive belt pulley and lighter flywheel
i pushed the STi stock turbo to 29psi just to see what would happened to that lil turbo and gave me and my tuner interesting result, and i also didnt heatsoak, then again my tune was all done on the road not on a dyno
