I thought I'd hear the C6 was .32 somewhere?

I think I know what Supra your talking about. Its white and has a ghey *** wing on it. I drive by their shop every once in a while up in Mills River. I have no idea how fast it is though.
Yeah, I think I remember seeing you. What kind of exhaust did you say you have? The vette is currently down for the procharger right now, but I think I'm going to sell the nitrous. I changed my mind on that. Its probably a bad idea. I don't know what this does to my chances of beating the supra, but oh well.

I understand that the C5 vette's CD is .29, and that's one of the reasons they don't get tagged with a 'gas-guzzler' tax when (if) you buy a new one.
consider our friends who choose to buy the 03-04 cobra's, they're getting tagged for a $2k gas-guzzle tax.

Why is everybody assuming he's on stock twins??? Do people not realise you can upgrade the twins to better twins than stock ones on these cars? Sure it costs money but in honesty it's not much more if any than going to a single turbo and it can easily peak 600+ horse with the right setup on better twins.

Sequential tranny? That alone will help him quite a bit.Easy as hell to power shift and should be more efficient.

Good luck with that. I figure that Supra if built and driven correctly will be fast as hell.

Well it would be good to know, what are you running do you know? I know you said you haven't had the car to long, so I was just wondering.

This doesn't relate to your race, but in my area a Supra with 650 horses was destroyed by a Corvette that has the same. Both 6 speeds though, the Corvette is supercharged and the Supra has a single turbo.

Good luck!

Well, just because you are maxing the boost on the turbo doesnt mean you can't do any mods... saying something as matter of factly as a car with stock twin turbos maxes out at 500HP is just dumb... Now, I know that the F/I is what gets these cars to the power levels that they are at, but you can still do other engine modifications... so, thats just kinda dumb, and too general a comment to make sense... Maybe it does max at 500HP if only boost is added, but that wasn't said, and that doesn't mean ****, because most people do other stuff as well...

Well,
I would have to say that calling that guys comment "dumb" is a little over the top my friend. I would say that 99% of the supra guys you run into with stock twins will be under 500rwhp. Simply put, its ALOT cheaper and more reasonable to go with upgraded turbo's than to tear into all the other mods. Internal mods on those things are not needed until extremely high HP. So, I have to agree with black trans am "stock twins=500rwhp" I would say the only way a supra owner with stock twins making over 500 would be with a aftermarket fuel system. Also, on stock twins.....you are NOT gonna last long....those stock twins will fall apart quickly. that's another reason why you can't just go over 500rwhp.....the poor little stockers can't handle it....

Well, he didnt say "stock twins=500rwhp" he said "stock twins= 500 max"... and it was Titanium...

I say kinda dumb, because, well... with only saying that, he is basically wrong... I dont anyone would argue with me, when I would say that it is POSSIBLE to get more out of that from that engine... hell you could get that out of my engine... That is sorta dumb to say too, but well, it is possible, and I guess he should have elaborated some more... What he said just was too general... you see why I said his comment was kinda dumb? I never argued about price, just the fact that he said an exact power is the MAX... for any engine, that is a bit bogus...

I guess your a little slow... Im not wrong.

those STOCK twins begin to just push air around 22psi when you can no longer efficently raise the boost with the little pea shooters and no one has gotten over 500rwhp with the STOCK twins without nitrous... and yes 500WHP is MAX with the stock twins with no nitrous, get a clue.

the stock twins cant support much boost over 22psi. In other words...not matter what mods, you arent going to see those kinds of numbers
