I do think the gt500 should trapped and ET better. But heat plays a role. Us what boost is he running and power? As the zl1 is just as disappointing. H/c/ported blower etc etc and 10.7..but heat as well matched with an already under performing car. I would tgink with all that work the zl1 should get bottom 10's.

My best trap was 133.x mph. I'm pretty much full weight and don't run a lower pulley.

Here's the 10 Second Shelby Fast list. My Trap and ET don't look out of line to me.

VNMOUS1 best run is 10.2@137 with way more mods and *** time at the strip than me.


My best run of the night is corrected to mid 10's...

Thats the 10 second list, as I stated. The list goes down to 6 seconds. Maybe you should get out a bit more often...lol.

Didnt see you said 10 sec list. And I wish I ran in sea level. My best pass was in almost 2000 DA and still ran 10.3@134 with 640whp. Aluminator going in car in few weeks. Never got to run stock engine at track with the 700whp tune.

Imagine if the GT100's weighed as much as the ZL1 does. They would run 13's @ 108 mph, stock. Same as a stock F-body.

Great, super close races!!!

Everything is almost dead even. Except for one thing. The MOD LIST!!! Sorry given the mods to the ZL1 this race shouldnt have been this close. To top it off its a auto but hats off the the GT500 driver for lauching and banging gears so well!

Yes a high 10sec 130+mph street car is badass but it kinda takes away from it when it "should" be a low 10sec 135-140mph street car...

Its just got the wrong mods. H/C and bolt ons aren't going to make as much of impression on power as a blower swap. Its common sense. The GT500 has the proper mods. Both cars are fast though.

There have been hci STOCK blower ZL1's in the 9's...

I do agree tho. Even tho its a bit underperforming the ZL1 is still a fast ****** street car...

Blower is to small on the ZL.......hell it's to small on the ZR. The ported blower ZR's boost tapers off as rpm goes up. So you can imagine how hard the 1.9 is working.


I wonder how well a gt500 would run on 9lbs of boost. That would be equal to the ZL's.
