im not sure that is Big Hammers argument. I think hes saying you only talk about your car. Here is an example...

In stock form, the rear suspension is a joke. And by suspension, i dont mean the shocks or springs. Im referring to the suspension that holds the axle in place. Its stamped steel junk with giant rubber bushings. I understand its for comfort... but it sucks. After i went to town on my car and completed the suspension front to back, before i removed the front hotckis sway bar and changed the wheels... i took a few BMW and vette guys for a ride and they said it was like a 500hp go kart. I also drove a stock boss after having modded mine, and it was no comparison. Cars were on a completely different level. IMO, though in stock form, the solid axle has its quirks.... you have an *** load of potential with different suspension to make it handle incredible. To this day i still havent been in a better handling car then MINE, however i also havent been in any cars that were heavily suspension modded either. Stock, there are better handling cars... after market... the sky is the limit.

I think a few are getting a little mislead by the word NIROUS. Its "nitrous" 5.0 which yes technically it is. With only a 75 shot its far from a "nitrous car" imo. I know when I shot a 75 i felt NOTHING. Jetted a 125 and it was night and day.
I cant say whether either car underperformed but i do know it was a damn good race!

From another outside view...I just think he is relating his personal anecdote to a given topic. It's how he relates to the topic at hand as a racer and I understand it. Otherwise, it's hard to get involved in topics about completely unrelated cars and specs other than "good vid.", "good runs", "that car sux", etc. He enjoys cars and the car scene, and absorbs it all by getting involved whether it be racing, talking about racing, bench racing, etc. IMO

The stang did pretty well....I really expected the formula to pull away.....bravo to ford for finally coming out with a GT that can hang with the big boys.....all GT's before were slow....I know cause I had a 2v GT
