I've heard of that 12.7 run before, does that seem legit at all to you? That's the same time as the record for a stock LS1 F-body, while weighing ~300lbs more and having IRS. Just seems a bit fishy to me, unless it's at like -3,000' DA or something.

The 6.1 SRT8 cars were always known to be equal with/SLIGHTLY ahead of LS1 F-bodies, so that's not really a surprise at all. The fact that (other than that 12.7) I've never heard of any stock LS1 GTO hitting 13.0 or quicker kinda raises suspicion...

Looks to me like the ls2 in the video gave up towards the end no way the 5.0 pulled like that out of no where. He undoubtedly would have pulled him but that was like he sprayed a 100 shot lol

im hoping when i get an o/r x and a new tune itll be a bit more linear, right now at about 80 it feels like its a different car, its like the cam timing is adjust to start doin mad work. like i said, it picks up 27mph on the back half of the track.
