Stock c6z vs h/c c5z

The only drawback I would say the GTR has is it sounds like ***......nothing beats the sound of the American V8's.... If they could make the GTR less "fartcanny" then it would be a total package.

Its just the technology in the GTR is top notch. The tranny is a $20,000 piece by itself. The car does the right thing at the right time. Hard to beat the combo.

It's a give and take man. There are videos out there of C6Z's laying the smack down on GTRs too, mod for mod and sometimes with the Z having less mods. The problem is, there's much more required to stay at the top of your game while driving one when compared to the GTR. The GTR doesn't exactly drive itself but it can definitely make a newb look like a hero.

I'm no GTR fan. As I've said, the Z is my ride of choice and it * should * be faster mod for mod but that's not always the case. Especially when the GTR is game and Z driven by a newb.
Get over it dude. The GTR is much more repeatable. The Z requires someone to be on their A game at all times, especially from a dig. I already stated that along with the fact that there were other videos out there showing the Z being dominate with equal or less mods against GTRs.

You said 100whp spread. I stayed within your requested requirements.

WOW this thread exploded. While you guys were bench racing GT-R vs Z06 I was out actually racing. And no I don't need a 100whp advantage to beat a Z06. I've beaten my buddy's ZR1 that made 50whp more than me numerous times lol.
I mean hell I used to own one myself. Both fast cars that take the approach of going fast differently.
Some details on the Z06 I beat. He had ported and milled heads, custom grind cam, fast 102and full exhaust. Just for the record he is not a forum guy but this is his car and mine at the Nurburgring last year.
As I stated before my car makes between 650 and 7xxwhp. I am doing my 60-130 times in mid 6's right now meaning I should be on the low side of that guesstimated number. The difference is I built my car to maximize torque output so it's faster than other GT-Rs making the same power. That's all I have to say.
