My experience between a c63 AMG (no experience with a p31) and an LS2 GTO says the GTO is the faster car. Local c63 I raced dynoed 348whp on my dyno 100% stock. My buddies ls2 GTO with shorties, air intake, catless JBA pipes, and magnaflow catback on the stock tune made 367whp. That GTO is a good bit quicker then the C63. Now remove maybe 15-20whp for its mods. My money is on that it is still faster. Heres my experience with a C63. I gave him a car and the hit in this race. I was making a little less power too.

2012 AMG weighs 3800 and makes 453/441 crank prior their "development" model which bumps HP to 480.
We all know a C6 vette is more than capable even with just a few bolt ons, but its not gonna outrun all the piggies out there even when they are stock.

Didn't they (SRT) have to come up with a more expensive, special edition Viper to finally outrun the ZR1? Cause the '13 Viper surely wasn't able to get the job done.

The TA is LESS expensive than the GTS that the ZR1 beat.

Its still irrelevant cause at the end of the day its Viper>ZR1. Period.
Am i impressed by the the TA edging out the ZR1? No. I think the GTS should easily have beaten it and the TA should rape it. Although there wouldnt be a TA if the GTS would have beatin it to begin with.
Its sad that a "all new" Viper can barely edge out the outgoing generation Vette but I was just proving a point that your statement about everything>chrysler was based off of butthurt emotions.
Bottom line. Chryslers flagship performance car has beatin GM's so in that regard Chrysler>GM
