No shame in losing to that! Those cars don't play around from a stop lol. Sounds like you held your own though!

People look to deep into things on this board. The video of the run was great. The win went to the GTR, but the fbody did awesome considering its power level and going from a dig.

Is e85 unfair? Well its situational. My car for instance makes great power at higher boost levels that I couldn't on 93 however I never run my car on the streets at more than 10-12psi which really doesn't open up the performance capabilities of the fuel over 93 octane.

I think my car is slow as hell from a roll. But it does very well from a dig. The baby turbos die up top

Not at all....but I'm sure it feels very uneventful as it goes about it's business.

Thanks man!! I forget the name of the place where I got the hood. It was aeroXXXX but I can't remember it all. I need to paint the damn thing. I'm sick of seeing it carbon.

What the hell heater? I know cars can leave hard or with awd cars. Mines not one of those.....especially w/o a burnout or on a none prepped surface......unlike the other vids that was posted

It would spit a axle out if I even tried.

I can see why he would feel its slow from a roll. In all actuality its not. He just doesnt feel the burst he does from the dig. Holy **** it leaves hard.

I was just giving you a hard time. For a rwd car to leave with a awd car on the street, it has to be on point with it's suspension.

lol....maybe so.....It's still gonna be a while though. I want to finish my uncles ls '56 belair first. When I do my car I think I want to change the color and flange it. I think I can get to the 28xxlb and still retain......everything. Then would be the time to do it. It's a 14 yr old car that gets driven year round. So I will paint the bottom and all.

So you can't drag race a bolt-on BOSS without somewhat building the tranny? And just to think, a while back someone was trying to tell me 6060's were weak sauce.

Before I had my T56 built on my '02 SS I ran that car at the track regularly with 471rwhp, driving it like I stole it. Many others have done that with a T56 with even more power than I made. Had similar experiences with my built LT1 cars as well. The T56 has a track record to prove its durability; MT-82 on the otherhand (), with all the warranty claims and trannys failing for absolutely no reason, under normal driving etc...not so much. With its reputation I wouldn't even put that junk trans in the same sentence with a T56. Lol

we are all going off the assumption that you never let up either. Hio, do yourself a favor and DO NOT come back next month with another 40rwhp and challenge him to a $500 race ok? Cuz if I was him I would have sandbagged after getting out there and then I'd sit back and wait for the inevitable "rematch" callout.

Nobodies Jimmy's should ever be rustled in a race. If anything it should be humbling to lose, go back, and retool your setup.
