The T3i was my entry level DSLR... it's actually quite a good video camera and still shot camera. I was impressed with how nice the end products came out.... You can get one of those now with a 18-55mm kit lens for like 600 bucks.
The T4i and T5i aren't worth the extra money IMO.
If you need something more than that, you need to step up to a pro level DSLR (60D, 6D, 5D) etc...
It's sitting on a steadicam... basically I can walk around shooting video and the frame wont bounce, it'll look 'cinematic' or just smooth really.
The 5D3 is amazing though... It costs $3000 without a lens, but the quality and features are top notch. The lens on it is for versatility, 70-200mm with a 2.8 aperture makes for that nice blurry background and foreground. It's great in low light and has awesome range... it cost $2500 new though. I think now you can get them for like $2000. Since I keep the lights on at B&H and Adorama, I got it for $2099 when I bought it last year.
The monopod is cool too, makes for interesting pan in/tilt shots, and seconds as a decent stationary support.
The XF105 is Canon's compact professional camcorder... it was $4000 new when I got it 2 years ago. I think they've come down a little since then lol.
The senheisser g3 is a wireless mic. So you can record sound to the camera from far away those were like 700 bucks

I've been slow to the game in this regard. I can't really comment on any of them but I am buying a go pro hero 3, the black version or whatever costs the most. If I don't like it I'll just return it lol

i need more than one gopro so i can get some good footage. what was it about gopros you didnt like before that made you change your mind with the 3. the only big issue i had was the fogging (fixed with the inserts), unable to see the view or shot footage (not worth the LCD screen), and when i was snorkeling it wouldnt focus because of the round protective case lens.

ive been contemplating the hero3 black since the 3 silver is pretty much the same as my hero2 hd from the reviews/specs.
