Hey I've ALWAYS liked fast slow cars... the GTO was a step outside my comfort zone.
I loved that car and someday soon I'll have another slow fast car. But I'll always have a fast slow car

I love love love SHO Taurus'. Such a damn sleeper. I had a 79 toronado, and I was debating on keeping it and swapping a 455 olds motor (the toronado was FWD.. it had a TH325 transmission (Turbo 350 that was transverse). So it would bolt right in. The car succumbed to rust though.
Watching this makes me re-think about buying another toronado and doing that swap. NO ONE expects that car!
Nice video

I hear that. Im in the same boat. My trans is currently out and replacing the few bad pieces with stock stuff. Gonna have to tear it down again in the winter time. Bronze shift pads are 8-10 weeks out from liberty... cant wait that long. Thats all the trans needs honestly....along with a good clutch. Stock Valeo junk clutch. Mcleod is going in while its down too
