People seem to think that I have some sort of fantasy built up in my head that my car can't lose.
I lose all the time LOL
It's fun!
When a car beats me it means they're making some serious steam.
But when I beat certain people, say, a type-a meat head mustang driver who just wants everyone in the world to hear his flowmasters... that ruins their day and/or life.

Saw the thread on SVT yesterday...There are a bunch of good guys there who are very knowledgeable about making power from smaller displacement OHC motors. Owners of 800- 1200 Hp cars are not uncommon there so I do not think you rustled anyone's panties.
I don't think that they are getting mad at your Buick or trying to put it down. It is more about how you first approach a situation in general or as in this case, how you presented your thread. The reaction you received would not be different from any other forum. It is always about humility and mutual respect toward another individual or group of individuals. If you are an occasional poster in a forum and come across in an antagonistic way, you will probably not receive warm welcomes. In my opinion, if you just change your approach on how you present your threads, you would probably be treated with more respect.
It is not your car that stirs the pot, it is how you present yourself.
Just my opinion but I will STFU now.

You obviously care enough to post on here, and apparently it's easy, you also claim that people think you never lose or whatever. You can put all those misconceptions to rest by posting some races you lost...just seems too easy.
I get what you do, you ruffle feathers, that's cool and all, but posting some losses would show you're not living in fantasy land like some people think you are.

Also you shouldn't feel obligated to post losses. The only reason I would was if someone else posted it on youtube or if I ran better then expected. If someone mops you up though there is no reason why you should want to post that for everyone to see.
edit: for the hell of it
