so a turbo'ed go cart completely gutted beat a 4000lb modded car, not surprising at all. if you need someone to hold you back so you can do a burn out to warm up your front tires, youve failed. imo

LMAO. It would be like the videos of the idiots that walk too close to a car in the rollers and step on one of them while they are spinning. Haha

LMAO!!! and then they sit up like "wtf just happened". always seems odd that a place lets them so close to the rollers, whenever i took mine to the dyno they hardly let me into the garage let alone next to the car.

and also seeing all those cars lined up on the side of the "race track" makes me cringe especially with that FWD torque steer, all it takes is one wrong move and your car is getting side swiped.

much like this:

granted not FWD but same concept

Civics blow, all those mods and cutting to outrun a family car, not a big win in my book, but each to there own as long as they was happy at the end of it.

The civic would be better off on a track where it can use those slicks properly. Doesnt sound like it hooked until the top of 4th! lol.

Boost by gear does wonders...

Very true, I have been outran by 2 Honda's since my car has been racing. Modded to the hilt and not street legal by any means. Some of that OKC bull crap.

Seems like not much has changed in 20 years. We were always very leery of going down to the Bronx since we were from Westchester County and the people from the Bronx did not like us.

But the races that I attended back in the day, no one cares about what kind of car you have when it’s a money race. It’s about the cash and bragging rights.

I'm originally from Westchester County and remembered the street racing in the bronx. I went back to the city last year in my GT-R and raced a supercharged M3 there. They have some pretty fast cars in the area.

Speaking of which, have you ever been able to run your car at the strip yet? How'd it do?

lmao at the ********* that agree'd to this race.

Nice lexan windows in the tin box.

If the caddy was a cam car, on a tire, it's capable of a 10.50/10.70..reference wise. The civic belongs on a race track, hence the 4th gear spin fest-

But, like dude said, run what you brung. Caddy shoulda known better then race a race car.
