I agree. If I have had a bunch of $ to dump street race car it would be something like this. Nice having a vette, but a lot of the time I think it would be fun to have a car that just surprises the **** out of people. I have few buddies in a town nearby that do there own efi live tunning and build custom turbo kits. They are brothers and both have chevy Silverado trucks that trap 130mph+ in the 1/4 mile. Badass sleepers

No it's pretty low for the mods it has.

That's really low. Especially on e85. Was that mustang dyno or just a poorly-running zr1?

Sorry man but the car does not gain much from being gutted this is a car that comes FULLY equiped and weighs 2500lbs how much do you think back seats and plastic panels weigh? Seriously the cage makes up for it AND THEN SOME.
These cars are local to me, like ive said many times before alot of civics around here aint a joke.

When a honda beats something LS I feel like its even worse if a Raggedy ferd does it.....

When you get into the realm of Modding a car......It really doesn't matter what the manufacture is.....Its about how much money you want to spend...

If it is not much of a benefit, why would they do it?

Ever seen anyone install a cage while the full interior is intact?

Are you serious? I own a Honda civic lol. The interior is pretty god damn heavy. Especially the seats. And when you start drilling holes you can take out a good chunk of weight. I wouldn't doubt if they had 800lbs taken out of that car as it looks they dropped and drilled everything possible. That cage aient **** compared to what they removed

Lol how can you say that when the side panels are clearly still in? I have the same body style car and the panels/rear seats/spare jack ish is worth MAYBE 100lbs. With a cage and all its probably in the 2300-2400 range, especially with a swap + turbo accessories

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO

Have you ever personally gutted out a civic or worked on a civic for that matter? BTW the speed holes aren't intended for weight savings they're intended to let air through the bumper. Guys have done back to back runs and have dropped ET.

Been there done that with my frends SI hatch, gutted, chopped, stripped, and plexi sun roof delete. The biggest weight savings was the sunroof everything else wasn't even worth removing. LMAO 800lbs lmao

As angry as I'd be having the ZR1 it's nice to see a decent running Honda for once.

I mean he was spinning his first 2 gears and still pulling lol. Good run.

A lighter car with 150whp more better win lol!

So...if all the interior doesnt matter in terms of weight savings then why remove the radio/hvac? That sound is atrocious, at the very least I would want some music to drown it out.
