..for a thousand more, I don't think it's worth it. The 2012 Z06 diff is what I went with. There where SEVERAL new designs in the 2008 till now versions. Basically, I ended up with the latest and greatest part number which is a C6Z06 #.

yup imo zr1 tans and c6z diff, the zr1 diff is alot more money

I meant to type Z06 but I was talking to someone at the same time about a ZR1 and that's why I typed it. Basically I agree. If mine breaks I'll be going Z06 and that should never break since I don't do a lot of dig racing.

I just broke my axle with c-clips. At least this guy wasn't moving, talk about scary!

I think I would build my t56 30spline and z06 diff. The t56 is a solid trans, the proof is in the pudding, no need for a 6060.

Im using a rpm lvl 5 trans with a 30 spline and a B.E.R stage 1 diff (c6z guts) 3.90 gear rpm machined for 30 spline and a ecs brace with Hinson mounts. I'm hoping it''ll hold for a while. I'm leaving the axles oem so that should be the first to go hopefully.
