What I want to know is why the hell there's ford nutswingers on an LS forum lmao
It's not like LS1tech peeps go on ford forums and talk about how great the LS is.. Everyone already knows it's touched by the hand of God. no need to explain LOL

Both of those are great examples of equal weight cars to a3rd gen with a 305 out running them. If the 305 was junk. ...... what does that make the other 2?
Idontrun11s.......I know they put that poop in them for many years...... long enough to teach anyone but a severe nut swinger not to buy that ****.

I would wager that Hio thinks the 2V only came in the '96-'98 cars. Which (except for MAYBE a 248a car in great conditions) were high 14/low 15s cars. The '99-'04 GTs, which were still 2V, could crack a high 13 with a good driver. The '94 GT (which is what was in the article he posted) is still a 302. And I certainly hope he didn't post that article as 305 vs. 302 evidence...

~330 to the wheels, some more, some less. Those are street-driven DD setups for most who build them, not all-out anything. Bumped compression, donkey-dick cam, you can make considerably more. Seriously, dude, you can spout your mouth off all you want saying I don't know engines, I truly believe that's your defense mechanism when it comes down to giving credit to anything Ford or just bashing the person who disagrees with you, you choose the latter...but you fell back on the 350 point about 45 different times. I didn't ask about 347 vs 350, I asked 5.0 v 5.0.
Before people come in and say 330 isn't ****, you're right, that's low compared to today's motors. It works in a light fox, though.

you just don't understand engines, or logistics, apparently. your debating skills are quite mediocre.

Oh, I never said the 302 was stellar by any means, but you have more options to build one than a 305. Yeah, the 305 has just as many heads that will bolt up to it, but it won't run worth a **** with most of them, the 350? YES! That's probably why most people just drop one in the 305's place. Not the case with a 302.
You're not very intelligent at all, it shows with your neanderthal-like posting style, and you try to belittle people when they disagree with you and like something other than GM. You're a dyed in the wool fanboy.
Don't lecture me on debating skills when you have 0 of those, you just belittle people, the only point in the discussion you had a good point was when you mentioned the SBC part interchangeability, which I actually knew but was thinking SBF mistakenly, which, as you know, doesn't allow for as much interchangeability. Some, but not as much as SBC's. Also, if you want to sound knowledgeable, type like you're above a 6th grade reading level. Thanks!

I had a Mustang once, it was nice for pulling slutes, and after the stroker motor would have been nice for pulling sleds. But one day I got the crazy idea that a stock ls would be faster....and here I am

ok so we have concluded that the 305 has just as much potential as a 302, so both are ****. and a 350 is a better option than both, and also an easier option than a 302-351 swap. and your technical knowledge if internal engines is very limited. this has been a fun exchange.

I suggest you do the same, but you won't. You'll continue to suck GM nuts blindly.
