TF heads, custom grinds and the supporting boltons is a solid 11sec n/a 2v combo. Just not a lot of people doing it because it is easier and cheaper to throw a blower/turbo/nitrous kit on it.

I wouldn't say solid to be honest. Good chunk of weight reduction on that list.
To be honest, I haven't really seen any NA 11 second 2v's that aren't full out race cars? The one that guy Trevor that ran 12.1 @ 111mph with the hi tech stage 2 cams still gets a lot of attention because that was really one of the faster NA 2v's... Ever lol.
Also, don't forget TFS heads came out what a year or 2 ago on a 12 year old car that start at $2100.
Bolt those on and gain what? 20-30rwhp at most? Most people take the smart route and spend another $1000 and throw boost at it.
I'd like to get another 2v eventually and build it. Not NA though, I have a feeling it'll have a hard time fully built (NA) running what my basic bolt on coyote ran lol.

Wasn't bragging about beating up on a 2v, as he initiated the race. I wouldn't go out just to pick on a car because I know I could beat it, matter fact I have a race with a pretty quick TBSS that I asked for. I'm not looking for a winning streak just to have some fun.

^^^ Gotcha, I wasn't sure. I used to own a 97 Cobra and loved the car but performance wise its not what my Camaro is. My Uncle actually owns it now and will be leaving it to me in his will, I loved that car and may do some mild upgrades to it someday since I never got the chance to the first time. Definitely a cool car just needs a little more performance.

Man, I have been on both sides of muscle cars and I am a bit of a research junkie. I have never seen or heard of a 2V modular going 9's NA. A full bolt on, cam car is lucky to get over 300RWP, when you go with the twisted wedge heads, then you can see up around 350RWP. Without boost, a modular can't hold a candle to the LS1.
The C headed 4v's can make decent NA power when properly set up, but again, boost is king.

Yes I say solid because it doesn't take much for a 2v to get down in weight to hit that number. I have seen 2 local cars run well into the 12s with n/a 2vs one with stock heads and one with just boltons. The one with off the shelf cams was going 111+ at a ~3500lb raceweight which is heavy for a 2v. However yes the TFS heads are new and pricey but are well worth it imo.
Trevor said he took the door panels off. You think hell pull door panels but not all the seats?
Not to mention the race wheels and whatever else.
A full bolt on 2v meaning headers/gears/slicks will get into the high 12's.
Pull weight, do cams probably go mid to low 12's. Do the TFS 38cc heads to bump the compression up a point, and yeah they can high 11's. At that pointX you have a max effort MAXED out 2v. That just makes it into the 11's. Only thing left to do is raise the compression. But it won't see that much.
I think 11's are possible from a 2v, but like I said its a very max effort build.
