So much butthurt in this thread. Also there are variables in every type of racing track, street etc.. The last I checked this was the sr&k section. However when I post a vid people get butthurt and talk about outdated ets.

Actually he's never said it. You have.....what he has done is try to shove the termi **** down my throat like a 4v something special. It's not......if you don't believe me take the blowers of. When your blower makes more power than your engine.....then the engine isn't much to talk up.
Stop being a puss and go to the track.....update your ****. There's another thread where we see what a 700+hp gt500 does. I would say his results are about on par with other gt500's I have seen.

well read the entire thread and I must say a race can be anything! As long as you have a starting point and an ending point the first one their wins. Starting points can be mph, start line (track, strip etc....) and the finish line can be a higher mph than the starting point of which everyone in the race agrees on, a clearly finish line etc.... Now no doubt these are fast cars that have been mentioned but my fast and another persons fast can/are different. It all depends on the person. some people like to race at the strip and some on the street is one better than the other no not really they both clearly exploit each others strengthens and weaknesses. I.E. gearing, power to weight, aerodynamics, etc... street racing is relatively new in a sense that it has never really been as big as it is nowadays meaning this website and others alike its just as easy or even easier to make a racing video on your way home or to work or what ever than to go to the drag strip on certain nights and wait in line and pay a fee just to race plus having rules (that do protect you). Point is its all about the set up, its about what one person likes to do, the Gt500 is a fast car with crappy tires and stock for stock its a damn good race for the C6 Z06 and even a Zr1 at that a simple rear tires change would fix that issue but not the suspension issue that still needs to be addressed to really help make it grip better. All in all good races for the O.P and let the pointless arguing continue. and if you dont like what I have said i really don't care.
