Its a 14.7 car stock...from the looks of it yours is bone stock minus the exhaust. I wouldnt doubt your car runs slower than 14.7. Your old iron block needs 7-8k worth of mods just to put up a fight with the family sedans.

Just curious to know as why you consider your car a "non daily" driver car? I only ask because you separated 6's and 4's in their own category.
I'm sure you're aware of how many 6's and 4's out there that are daily drivers but produce more substance to the title of "race car" than your bone stock LT1.
my car is bone stock? OK thanks for the heads up. LOL, if a lowered car with a full headers back exhaust, cold air intake, throttle body, heads, 160 t stat, aftermarket brakes, STB and SFC, better gears, a trans controller, and more crap i cant even recall is bone stock, then yes, its bone stock....its far from the baddest car on the road, im aware, but its no slouch, especially considering its "bone stock"

oh. and i consider it a non daily driver because its almost 20 years old, with 46k miles, in great shape, i couldnt drive it november-march due to weather, oh, and the fact, that......i.......dont......drive.......it.......d aily......maybe????
i guess you can call it my 20 times yearly driver.

A4 stock LT1 capable of low 14s?
In optimum weather conditions and sticky tire MAYBE. But we're talking exhaust and what seems to be nothing else. I could be completely wrong - but your estimate of low 14's is off as well.

Why dont you read the 2nd sentence - FROM THE LOOKS OF IT ...... how the **** am i supposed to know you have a thermostat, gears, headers, trans controller - etc etc ....

Perhaps my last sentence made it seem a little more arrogant by outright SAYING it was bone stock.... but i didnt mean it as if i knew indefinitely.

Thank you for clearing it up in your last post - all i asked was WHY it's considered as non DD - you all take **** out of context way too quickly and need to calm the **** down. Bunch of dudes on your periods when it comes to your cars

I know of several family sedans that are DD that would whomp on the bunch of you lol. And now there are coupes with AWD that can serve more purpose as a family car than other sedans. The body style of the car holds no water anymore in the world of daily or non daily
Does your coupe/convert/T-top vehicle automatically hold more substance to weekend cars because they are 2 doors with 8 cylunders?

I'll bet if i throw a worked G8 in the midst of this convo you'll all say "well thats not a family sedan it has an 8 cyl motor"

I accept you being wrong.
My 94 auto bone stock ran 14.3 in Chicago DA.

I sold it fur the hugger.

umm "Chicago DA?" Chicago DA is very general statement....chicago is susceptible to ALL weather conditions.
Are you saying it worked against you or in your favor>??

you can throw the G8 and the GTO in the same bag and throw them off the face of the earth IMO, they were just something put into place trying to fill a void in the market after the loss of the fbody. i still confuse GTOs for grand prixs from a distance in traffic....minus the vette, GM hasnt made a cool sports car since 2002. just my opinion though.

Our weather is never in favor.
It was hot and muggy....pretty typical summer racing.

Now don't get me wrong, my hhr would gang rape my old lt1....lol

Times have indeed changed.

But lt1 fbody.is better then a 14.7 car.
