I tend to disagree a bit on the cam aspect. I have always heard that a turbo cam on an LS motor makes a huge difference in power output and spool responsiveness. Tick performance claims that a relatively stock 5.3 with one of their turbo cams will pick up around 50 hp (with a turbo of course). Either way, the LS6 cam isn't bad, but there is room for big improvement.

And as far as the intercooler, I already have an alky control methanol kit on the way, so IAT temp won't be an issue anymore. It's useless to put an expensive intercooler on the car because the bumper has absolutely no airflow, and I refuse to cut it up. The intercooler on the car is just an ebay 4" core unit.

He has a slow, old, rusted out 4th gen and hangs around people I know with fast cars like a little dingle berry. He thinks because he drove a go kart he knows how to drive a road course lol
