Sorry about that you are sort of right( In my opinion But we all know what opinions are) I did say 65 and all the data around say 25 more horse than a 2013 LS3. And I should of seed 25 more horse but I detent so hears my explanation
(hears the link to the info http://www.autoweek.com/article/2013...NEWS/130529768)
The engineers I spoke to say the engine actual output is a lot more than what is publish (as GM is known for). we have got 7 of the C7 in just this weak and all are sold but one of the owners went to a speed shop and hade his dynode and when he came back to pick his waifs C7 up he shod us the dyno sheet and it clearly seed 495 horse didn’t look at torque (I know horsepower is a byproduct of torque) and all of the LS3 (stock) iv seen dynode have only put out 400 to 430 to the ground. Now mind you I know that the numbers defer from dyno to dyno and yes I have seen a Ls3 put 470 to the ground but that was with a tune and he may have been wrong ( and if that is the case so am I ) but it is the only numbers Iv seen thus far so in a nut shell in publications you are right listed LS3 horsepower is at 430 and the LT1 is listed at455 and 460 horse so that is a 25 horsepower increase with the standard exhaust and 30 horse with the performance exhaust.
I only have assess to one dnyo( My butt dyno) and it is known to lie to me
you just half to drive one to see what I mean so much fun to drive the engineers did a good job on this one and as for as the back end of the C7 I did not much care for it my self but once I saw it in person all lite up I change my mind this vet definitely deserves the stingray nameplate
So if I Am wrong then I gees I am wrong and that is that

I have a question I bought an LSA cam off a cts-v and want to install it in my 5.3l what mods will I have to make I know I need a single bolt cover meaning I'm gonna need to change timing gear chain also will a ls3 timing gear fit the same as the one from my 5.3 I know this had nothing to do with the subject but I'd appreciate it if someone could help

Sky is the limit?
They have been out for a month I've read where these motors aren't going to handle the power its LSx brothern have in stock form...But I'm sure I bet they'd never guessed they'd make the power they do now with the 5.3....

I know a 6.0L cam will fit in a 4.8 and A 5.3L as long as the 6.0L did not come with AFM and VVT haven’t tried swoping a newer 6.0L cam into a newer 5.3L engine yet

Not shur depends if your 5.3 has a front cam sensor or a rear cam sensor and if it has Active Fuel Management or not and of curse iv never instead a LSA cam in anything other than a LSA Comoro but will it fit well probable will if your cam sensor is in the front of the timing cover and u have a programmer to disable the AFM ststem.

I actually can't even find a stock LS2 vs. LS3 Vette vid, how much quicker is the LS3 from say a 30 and 60 roll?
