6.2 sierra vs tuned ecoboost

I wouldnt rev it any higher.. Problem is you have too long a shift extension. Id put a converter in it and dial the shifts back to 6100ish. But it would come back into the next gear making a lot more steam

I have the rev set at 6300, not the shift points. it just revs so fast and the gm paddle shifters are so slow responding it's hard to time it correctly.

Nope, I'm just trying to get a rise out of you. These boards are becoming boring so I like to rustle the jimmies now and then to inject some life. Truck runs strong man. If I took it too seriously I wouldn't be calling it the EcoTurd.

when I had my first truck, a 1987 chevy 305 tbi 4x4, which couldn't hit 100 mph at all, I never thought we would be having basically stock trucks knocking on 100 mph in the 1\4.

Im trying to be patient with the C7... but i just cant come to terms with the back of it...and the fact its 3450lbs... Even a light driver brings it to a 3600lb race weight. Thats BS! I know GM is focusing on a lot more luxury and selling points then Ford is... but at some point the need to draw the line and produce some performance only cars/models.
The 11+ GT for example. There are so many options offered in that car, you can get whatever you please. My buddy has a full out stripper model GT. He ordered it that way. VS my other buddy has a GT/CS which is like a cadillac in comparison. But the difference is 250lbs out of the box. But they give you the option. GM needs to start doing this more. A little less consumer based...a little more enthusiast based. Unfortunately, the consumer based is what brings in the money, not the enthusiast.

and with the weight of the c7--- it has a lot to do with the afm. they needed a heavy steel driveshaft to soak up the vibration from the v4 mode which adds a pile of weight-- which you know. an aluminum conversion will be an easy way to save a pile of weight.
