A grudge match a year in the making with enough **** talking to build a house with and he doesn't show up on kill, whatever. I gave him the hit as well.

I didn't need my 2nd stage. I have the faster car. Only time he would ever take me is if I go from a 80 roll up to 160 or something stupid.

They're never on kill when they lose. It's always such a a coincidence.
I think I'll call it, "The Theory of Hondas losing".

Seems kinda odd if the honda is trapping in the 180's in the half mile. Thats moving and since this is a roll I was expecting the Honda if on the same kill mode to walk away like you were standing still. Either way good kill,

This isn't rocket science. His car can't put down any real power until 4th and 5th. I am not racing up to that high. So he pretty much only has 1 gear while we are racing that he is making more/same whp as me.

My car is no slouch either.

They, being many Honda guys, never seem to bother with getting their cars to hook. Just add power and request 100 rolls.

This Integra has boost by gear and a very well setup traction control system on top of tires that the great "LightningTeg" uses as well...

Yeah you aren't kidding. Pretty stout setup for being NA with a little spray.

He can't apply any real power until then. He is setup to hook 12 psi in 2nd, 18 psi in 3rd, 28psi in 4th, and 31 in 5th. @ 31 psi it makes 740whp

His/our 4th only really goes to 150, so that race was good. He probably just couldnt make up the ground fast enough if at all.

Similar results from my car this past weekend. A higher roll would be interesting, but I know you guys hate those...

Exactly. If you're not able to make full power to the ground, sounds like you should work more on suspension and tire work for traction. The boost-by-gear is a bandaid for that, even though it works.
But that's just me.

Teggy, you ever get that car out to the strip yet? A few of us are going to Byron on Saturday and I'll be bringing a trailer in case anyone breaks. Just offering in case you were interested in going up.

Theres only so much you can do to hook FWD. Its diminishing returns past 500whp. All these 700whp Hondas arent really impressive because its not usable.

Until someone really sets out to make a tire for the application, its a struggle lol.
