Buddies 13 weighed 4050 with him in it bone stock. He's 190lbs.

So an average person in each it's a 50# difference....

Well compared to the 07-09 500's, the ZL1 is still a heavy turd.. you are looking at about 400lb difference. 11-12's about 100lbs lighter than the 07-10, and the svtpp pkg cuts a few more. Like I mentioned above.. mine was scale weighed @ 3800... a ZL1 will be 500more. Thats like the difference in weight between my car and a C6Z06... and we(I) already know I have to push 100rwhp or so more than a C6Z to take it.

Which is my reasoning behind not thinking the 500 in this thread was at 640... or the ZL1 was pushing more than 670... the power to weight just doesn't jive. Either way.. it was a good race. Not taking anything away from it... it is what it is.

between my 12, and a 13 500 yes.. on average... the 07-10's are 100lbs heavier with the iron block vs. aluminum.

Most of the listed curb weights I've found for ZL1 is just over 4,100 lbs, sure, an automatic will be a littler heavier, but not 200 lbs lmao.

The GT500 is heavy too, just not a turd like a stock ZL1.

There is about 6 car lengths between the 2 best bone stock runs in the 1/4.
The ZL1 comes in second even when using an auto.

If you go stick car to stick car then the difference is about 10 cars.
Yes the stock ZL1 is a turd in comparison.

Once modded the ZL1 can be impressive.

I didn't say the 500 was light. I was comparing the weight difference, vs. how much more power the heavier car would need. Comon' man.. can you not see that?

Not according to the numbers. I'd give it a tie at worst on the road course tests.

I just saw a video of a bone stock ZL1 putting down a whopping 444rwhp bone stock on a dynojet....not heartbreaker.... pitiful.

Ahhh yes.. the new Camaro argument.. but but but... it corners better.... wahh... who cares? Honestly? Since the 60's the Muscle cars(Camaros, Mustangs etc) have handled their issues in a straight line.. at the dragstrip, or stoplight. Camaro is no longer a contender.
