113 is slow for sure. My buddy's '13 5.0 6M trapped high 112 stock with 3.55s and 235s. Car in OP should be 115+.

What are your track times?

Yup. My car is a heavy *****, I only made 1 "decent" pass stock (probably weighed about 3900lbs with me in it) and went 12.9 @ 111mph on a **** bog launch.

These cars stock with a decent driver are 111-113mph cars. Some have gone slower, some faster... But on average.

Same mods as the GT that raced the camaro in the OP, except I had an off road x pipe I went 11.8 @ 117mph. An off road x pipe does not met 1 second faster 1/4 mile time and 4mph faster trap.

Bama sucks

I haven't been to the track with this car. But my L99 camaro trapped 12.8@ 112mph and i pull on it pretty good. Im hopping for 115 -117 mph with my mods.

Well once you do, report back. I have a feeling you may be disappointed. I don't think Bama ***** of torque managment?? What I've heard, if so... That KILLS you. Same mods I went 12.4 @ 114.5mph. Literally would bog every time. Had torque managment shut off, nothing else changed went 11.8 @ 117mph.

Bama is such a hit or miss company. Some tunes are good, some are horrendous. Probably reason why there free tunes for life

Yeah i tried there cam tune sounded good but would die on me alot. I like the hybrid tune runs real good every were. I haven't had the problem with my car bogging down when i am really getting on it hard. On the aed tune do you have to get the car dyno tuned or is it a email tune?

No the torque managment only kicks in on launching. When your slipping the clutch say on drag radials or street tires. Dumping the clutch on slicks, the TM may not kick in since it's not being slipped, but I'm not sure.

But it'll most likely only happen at the track, since on the street most likely it'll spin. But you could try... Try like 4500rpm launch on the street and slip the clutch, once your off the clutch (it's completely engaged) the car will bog for a couple seconds.

And AED tune was just a couple datalogs. Free retune on the boss intake.

For email tuning I'd recommend AED, JPC and revolution auto. Tommy at JPC and Adam at rev auto are really good tuners. Since Shaun at AED is on the other side of the country, I'm going to most likely drive 8 hours down to JPC and have them dyno tune it, once I port my boss intake, and make a bigger cold air intake. Really looking to go 10's with just bolt ons, and I think a mean tune from JPC will get it done. Nothing against AED, just don't feel like driving 3000 miles to him.

Plus JPC's bolt on 5.0 race car runs 9.9x @ 133+mph, they did work and tuned caspergt's car that went 10.7 @ 124mph with just bolt ons.

O ok got you i know what you are talking about now. I had it happen when i was stock ill have to give it another try. I look into the AED tune seems like everybody is putting more power down with them.

I should make about the same power as full bolt on 5.0 when i put my cnc'd 243 ls6 heads, calspeed headers, Texas speed 228r 113 lsa cam, and full exhaust on.

If not more... My friends full exhaust 93 octane bama tune 2012 5.0 liter did 387 whp, but has stock intake. The 5.0's are overhyped by the internet, they aren't that fast in the real world. I was expecting to get walked and the 5.0 owner told others in our group that he would walk my ***.

5.0's dont have any torque, thats one thing I noticed. If Honda made a v8 it would be the coyote, its smooth refined good mpg torqueless but decent hp at high rpm.
