He shouldn't be shifting into 5th. He'd do better winding out 4th.

That's honestly a pretty weak "stock" coyote. Unless the DA was really high... But on average 111-113mph stock.

The Da was around 900, the L99 Camaro in the vid just has a hypertech programmer. and his best was 13.0 vs the 12.89 for the mustang on drag radials.

If the L99 had an intake and drag radials it would be game over for the 5.0.

Lol @ all the 5.0 nut huggers desperately trying to justify a bolt on 11 year old camero pulling on their pride and joy. Priceless.

good race, but the 5.0 needs practice or a better tune. possibly a mix of both.

Theyre really not as fast as the internet has made them out to be, they see one guy runs 11.7 with bolt ons while pumping some unicorn fuel and automatically assume bolt on 5.0s are 11 second cars. FBO 5.0s are mid 12 second cars in reality, with low 12s good driver.

the 5.0 driver is very good, the top end is due to my longer 3rd gear and better aero imo

Meh. I'm still disagreeing. 107mph regardless is low for a stock coyote.
My car in positive 1500' DA bone stock, 3850-3900lb race weight went 111mph my first pass ever on it. And wheels/x pipe/tune/alum ds went 11.8 @ 117mph.

That one you posted at the track was slow/driver error. The one you raced I said good kill. I just think his Bama tune is hurting him.

Lol how ignorant are you? If you seriously believe a full bolt-on 5.0 is a mid 12 second car you need to open your eyes. I'm no Ford nuthugger by any means, but I've driven/had experience enough 5.0's to know that that's not true. I drove my buddies stock '13 to 12.7@111 on street tires, first time driving it in less than optimal conditions. That car now has FBO, makes 445whp and moves out. You're telling me a car with 445whp is going to run mid 12's, when my 350whp car went high 11's? Lmao.

Just because you beat one, it doesn't mean they all run like that. And just because some have had "glory" passes doesn't, mean they all run like that either. There will always be better and worse running cars, as well as drivers.

I agree with SCalla about them trapping around 111ish stock

5.0 coyotes are usually a drivers race for 4th gen LS1's mod for mod. Deal with it. SCalla1384 , those times are not out of bolt on LS1 territory at all. My mildly modded z28 beats stock 5.0's silly. Even bolt on ones.

Damn full bolt on cars going mid 12s... You must have some slow *** drivers in your area. I drove my car to mid 11s with the worlds most amatuer 60 ft. And i dont even consider myself full bolt ons yet. Still a lot of things to do.

And how can you say they are torqueless? If they have a stock GT intake on them, they usually make MORE tq then hp.

^ Your car is 400 lbs lighter than stock. That's equal to adding about 50rwhp. And the BOSS engines are quite different than the GT engines, brah.

Youre aware that there is only one advertised weight for all of the new 5.0 mustangs... yet they range withing 250lbs

Troll, I never said a bolt on ls1 couldn't run those times. Where did I? Please quote me.

A full bolt on coyote is not running mid 12's. More like mid 11's. A very basic bolt on car (mine for example) will do mid to high 11's. Seriously, x pipe, intake, tune and wheels with nittos not slicks went 11.8.

Also raced a friends friend ls1 cammed exhaust went 114-115mph. I'm going more off experience then Internet times... Troll

Tell your friend to learn how to ******* drive his car. My daily driver would be a good race for your slow turd.
