Take it to the Ring!

BTW, I was one of the first to post on the video on FB

C7 has way more potential, but if you care about keeping it stock, get the gt500

Cant say an NA car ever has ever had more potential then the blower car. And Im all about NA.

Basic to full bolt ons... the C7 will get spanked even worse

Weight advantage+aerodynamics>blower, in the end.
You can easily strap a blower onto the c7. Removing all the extra weight off of a gt500, not so much.

So a NA C6 Z06 doesn't have more potential than a GT500?
Remember, NA is just one blower away from FI. So if you start with a great platform that is NA, you can throw FI on and make it even more lethal.
I rather buy a light NA car and throw on a blower, rather than buy a pig like the GT500.

Same reason I stopped modifying my Gto. It's a great car, very comfortable too, but its unbelievably heavy, one of the reasons it is a terrible platform to work with.
Hence, my desire for a light-*** Rx-7. Being 1,000lb lighter makes a hell of a difference.

at that point you arent even comparing the cars anymore... youre just comparing who has more money. As far as im concerned... the potential of a what a company sells you in a factory car ends with bolt ons. For example with my car. If i start changing the motor/trans and strapping boost to it. Its no longer the potential of the boss 302. Im maximizing a stock longblock/mt82. THATS the potential of the boss 302

And i would rather buy and build an NA car and leave it NA. But i ultimately know i cant beat all blower cars in the long run. Nor would i care to.

Either way, that went as expected. Anyone who was expecting the C7 to win is on crack.
LOL C7 driver says 'That was 120 when I let off'. LMAO Dude, that GT500 was coming thru with the freight train HARD.
I'm pretty sure the C7 Traps around 120mph in the 1/4 mile, hence the reason why he shut it down for the sake of "Beating him in the 1/4 mile" I maybe way off the mark, its just the way I interpreted it.
