everyone is going to quiet down about potential when the Z's come out for the C7...
yes a base model vette is going to take a few mods to reach the 1/4 mile performance of a 700hp car.
i dont get this potential **** talking, every car can be made to do what you want. SRK section is getting ridiculous and dumb.
the vette put up a decent fight for being ~300hp less.

I do agree tho, only bc the GT500 could gives two ***** less about launching the car cause he knew he would freight train the Vette.
The C7 is a 120mph car, only @ Atco in Nov. Even so im amazed that the GT500 only had a 6mph advantage on it same day same track with an extra 200hp. Remember these Vettes arent 3200lbs anymore...
Im with Evan on this one. Keeping it basic with mods the GT500 will rape a base C7, now the Z's will be a different ball game...
Also arent these two cars priced about the same? The GT500 is MUCH faster for the money. At least in a straight line...

But this is comparing these two cars. And the fact that the c7 is still a better platform for mods than a gt500. And a rx-7 is better than both.

Damn, you always get upset quick. Face it. Your nearly-4,000lb car is a terrible platform when compared to a corvette. 500rwhp corvettes are faster than your 720rwhp gt500. Why? Lighter, better platform.
