Stockish Stalled T/A vs New Full exauhst 5.0

Stockish Stalled T/A vs New Full exauhst 5.0 It was on a bridge. Apparently the guy isn't too familiar with the three honk system, he honked once and expected me to go, then he waited, then he just left. We went from 30-40ish to 130, he only got me by 3-3.5 maybe 4 cars. The last 5.0 I raced drug me down the highway so bad it wasn't even funny. That was stock stall though, but I figured from a roll it'd be worse than before.

With those mods you should honestly do much better. I raced two 5.0s with my Formula and lost to one which was cat-back only by a nose from a low roll and the other got me by a couple cars from a highway roll who I think was bone stock. With a stall I'd expect you to be door to door if not win. Anyways, good death.

Yeah this CANT be right! Even though the 5.0 has 100hp more and track proven across the country to run faster than ellisjuans. You still should have put bus lengths on it. Are you sure you didn't go so fast you went all the way around the world and came back ending only a couple cars back? That would make more sense.

Are you sure you didn't go so fast you went all the way around the world and came back ending only a couple cars back? That would make more sense.
In all honesty though, I think that a bolt-on LS1 would be a good race for somewhat stockish 5.0. No doubt.

Lol, no it shouldn't be a drivers race. Don't confuse my chokemaster for full exhaust, and my SLP lid for a fast 102.. I have the worst cat back on the market, and a lid. And being a stalled auto, my car is about digs, I'm already at a disadvantage from a roll, not to mention he was a 6 speed. And makes more power. Stock. And he had full exausht..
I'm a lot closer to the stock end of the bolt on spectrum. I'm happy with the race results, a 16 year old stalled LS car with stock manifolds, 2.73, worst cat back,and a lid that makes maybe 5 more HP than stock only lost by 3ish cars to a full exausht (who knows what else but we'll just leave it at that), manual, new 5.0. These cars are fast but not that fast lol

new 5.0 blahhh sorry to all u mustang boys but on paper dont mean ****. Ive raced tw0 new 12 and 13 5.0 and got em both by a fender, and ive raced a boss and he got me by a fender. I have a 01 ta w dumps and throttle body and no tune!!!! ya im talking **** and from hartford ct come race me so i can make u want to bring that 5.0 back to the dealer ship ps the last one i faced the guy rolled his window down and asked how much hp i had my responce a lot less than u and like i said b4 i pointed him to the dealership........
