Do more than 12.0:1 and run E. I'm 12.6:1 on E85 and out down 505/490 while reaching 400#tq by 2700rpm lol thrue stock ls6 heads. I contribute that tq # a lot to the compression.

So a 7.0L DOHC V8 by Ford wouldn't have more potential than an LS7?

No jackass I meant if Ford made a 7.0. You're so ready to cry crocodile tears to say highly modified... I was getting at the fact that you'll suck GM nuts over anything else no matter what even a DOHC motor of the same displacement. Poor little guy. Ford doesn't make a 7.0, was just interested in seeing your response. It did not disappoint.

That motor aint making 700rearwheel anything with that setup. Sorry, I'll call bs if no one else with. Not gonna happen with a hydraulic setup. (and a fast intake, are you serious? Troll x9000)

street racing kids are so easily fooled...SAM Racing made 785 "flywheel" horsepower with canted valve heads, a sheet metal intake, 800 lift, 13.5 to1 440 lsx..

Truth is...the pushrod engine is OLD and inadequate. Hence, the huge CI's coming from GM and Dodge to compete with the lil' 5 liter. Ford is making mad power from engines under 350 CI's. I own all 3 and have raced ALL 3. My next build will be a DOHC Ford. I can do this because my head isn't planted squarely in my ***..

You make it sound like LS cant make power. Its easy to make near 580-600rwhp with a LS7(hydraulic, cam, ported heads). Cam only some have made close to 600. Its just that anything well past beyond 600rwhp is gonna require fancy parts. Stick with your 5.0 and make less N/A. SAM has made 1000hp n/a too, but you know it I guess.
