Why is that? Car had a t56 in it which isn't exactly the easiest to shift at that power level. He said he was going with a th400 for next year cause he was afraid the tranny could break at any moment. Have no idea why he would up the power numbers from what it really was after we raced but guess anything is possible. Maybe he was only on the one kit.

Think about it, how hard is it to make 900 HP with nitrous?
What would 900 HP in a Fox Body look like next to your car making 120 less and weighing more?

thats how it goes around here bud. Bunch of bench racing from slow cars that crunch a few #'s and dont understand that there is more to racing than a simple HP rating..

But im saying you didn't know what my car made when you made your first statement so how could you say that there is no way it made 900? And im sure its a hand full to drive and bang gears in that car at that power level so im sure it would be faster with a auto in the car. Plus I didn't just make his power level up. He told me after we raced.

Look, I wasn't knocking OP's car, it runs hard and I already said so.
I think I have a little more of an idea what a Fox Body would do with that much power and how hard it would be to make that kind of power with a SBF and nitrous.
This forum is about discussing cars and that is what was going on. When you post up video's or stories, you have to expect criticism along with the congratulations.

Alright you guys got me, I'm sure the Fox Body makes 900 plus hp.

I really don't know what it makes...I wasn't there for the dyno. He told me and my buddy it mad over 900 on both kits. I could just as easily not make that I really don't know.

everyone throws around this should do this and this should do that as if every single setup is optimal. As ive said many a time, HP doesnt win races.
