Lmao
No need to try to lie about the obvious, right? I loves me some 'stangs, but a blind loyalist I most certainly am not.

The PI heads are poop compared to the trick flow stuff.

Right, but cheaper and more common as well.

The PI heads for a NPI 4.6 were dirt cheap, but even with the slight compression bump, and every bolt on thrown at it, it "might" be a drivers race with a bone stock LS1 f-body...big maybe lol

That's what I'm thinking this car had done. Might have even been like I did my old '98 GT; PI cams/intake only. I'd still like to build an NPI GT w/ PI parts swapped on it. I think it'd be a fun car with I/H/E/4.10s. Would definitely surprise a few people, especially with some ported heads, a ported Bullitt intake, and some cams.

Oh definitely lol. Most people just don't expect much from these cars, so you are right in that it would be a surprise for a lot of people. Back when I had my 04 gt (full bolt ons, cams, custom tune, and 3.90's) it still made only 290 rwhp for all that work. Then a 100 shot helped to surprise a few lol

There are no n/a 2v's that will surprise any one.........your guys are building a car that the new Mustang v6's would outrun.

I myself would like to swap a 3v into a 96-98 GT That's the plan for my New Edge, but it would certainly catch more people off guard in a stock looking NPI body.

I have a 5.0 swapped new edge at my shop now. That's the only n/a engine ford made worth swapping.

A stock/stock-ish F-body would have its hands full with a ~290-300rwhp 4.10-geared 3,100lb Mustang, especially since they definitely wouldn't be expecting to have to give it their all. It wouldn't burn any barns, but it would be very cheap and fun to play around with.

Agreed, and a minimal bolt on 3v EASILY puts 300 down, plus it's ~80lbs lighter to boot! Sounds like a win to me.

BTW, I just read through this again, and Hammer's "cheese ball and stinky *****" comment made me laugh to tears, haha.

It's not going to run like an LS6 (not a cheap shot) or a coyote, but at $2500 for a complete swap, 300+ to the tire and an 80lb weight loss will make one hell of a difference, don't ya think?
