corvette c6 ls3 vs mustang shelby 2013

Built? I had stock engine on stock headers with an x pipe on 11lbs boost. Full weight minus wheel setup. Very far from built. 640whp..never ran at track on race tune of 713whp.
But lets see a more built vette which is 500lbs lighter before your weight reduction with more work runs 4 tenths quicker. And more power then my 5.0 had. Still only 4 tenths faster.

500lbs?? In stock trim it weighed 3309 without me in it. Average Coyote weighs what, ~3620? Closer to 300lbs actually.
With a 6-speed stick, big difference. If I was to do a 60E swap with a good converter I'd be well into the 9's with the same setup.
Give me a blown, stalled, weight reduction Coyote and watch me go single digits easily. That LS3 vette was equally unimpressive imo.
Car looks mean as hell man. Props! I had some nice shots of my car on my former uncrushed phone(memory card got broke when the phone got crushed).. Hate I didn't back the card up.. here is a pic I found from a cruise-in our group went to last summer. trying to find a good pic with the hood down.. if not, I'll take a couple more when I find the time to wash the dirty thing.
Your car looks good too. The grille looks mean on those Shelby's.

My vette with 470whp ran door to door with a stlck 13 GT500 that made 590whp and trapped 127 stock. At 512whp it lost by 2 cars on a 60-160 run with the GT500 making 650whp. Ran a 550whp Mustang and walked it hard. Pretty impressive I think.

Kinda pointless to compare the weight of the vette with driver to the weight of the coyote without one...like Ohio said, 500lb weight difference.

The way it sits now with the CCW drag pack on, it weighed 3287 without me and 3522 with me (I'm 235). With his old car at said 3915 raceweight, that's a little under 400 pounds between the two.

My 5.0 auto weighted in oer 3800lbs. It was fully loaded leather power seats, mach 1000 stereo etc. Only option didn't have was glass roof. The base auto's run 3600lbs. Only weight reduction was the wheels and driveshaft. Still weighed little over 3700lbs before I got in it. And I am 215lbs.

Pay attention. I said 3,309 without me in it. That was bone-stock. The only weight reduction is CCW C10's which are mainly for track use, but I have also put some weight back like the two 15lb bottles out back for example.

I weighed it bone stock and then with bigs and littles. Never weighed when put sc on. But sc people weighed to be about 110lbs with blower/piping/intercooler. Driveshaft said me 19lbs. Then add me at 215. Thats about 4000lbs.
Thats about right because stock Z06's make 440-460ish rwhp and a stock 13 GT500 will slightly edge one out.
noooooooooope.

Im not adding in weight of the supercharger. That was 100lbs back in actually. 3700 plus was before blower went on. Add 100lbs back in. Back at full weight of over 3800lbs in race trim. Before I get back in.

I've never heard of a Coyote being that darn heavy. A good friend of mine had a '11 GT 6M that we put on the scale and weighed just a tad over 3600 with leather seats, factory 18's, etc. I know the blower stuff can get heavy but damn 4000# raceweight is crazy.

You had a ridiculously heavy 5.0 man. All bs aside, weight reduction should have been on the to do list well before adding any more power to that tank.

As said 4000lbs would be with me in it. And rough estimate.
Your Vette does look good though. If I kept mine I planned on a 200 shot. But few other things made more sense right now. And tired wasting money on crs right now. I've had a G8, 2 5.0's and a vette in last 5yrs.

I had all the extra ****. The fancy lights inside and out The upgraded heavy stereo system, 19's, dual power seats etc(not all come with dual power). Also he had an auto which is about 70lbs lighter to start. My base M6 5.0 cloth seats etc was actually a hair under 3500lbs with 1/8th tank gas stock.
