Most 6.1s are putting down around 400 rwhp with a tune and cai. Stock around 360-370 rwhp. If the guy would of tuned the hemi instead of just doing cat deletes that race would of went much better the the hemi dragging the ls1

I'm still looking for where I saw it at. IIRC, the owner claimed 500 at the wheels.

Give me a few, I'll find it.

This

no way is that z28 making 500 regardless of claims. I don't make anywhere near 500hp either and have a ton of traction issues on cold pavement. Right now the only gears I can got WOT in are 5th and 6th.

Fount it.

Thread was a call out of LS1FTMFW, he later posted that he has 500 rwhp.

From what I gather, OP here is one and the same as the guy from the below quote.

Lots of ignorance to a stalled automatic here, I make well over 500 whp to back up the top end too. Just no roll racing, this isn't a bakery.

I don't see how he came to the 500 number, I'm just going off of his claim.

With a tune on the SRT I see the results being a bit different.

Here's the charger at the track, it's quicker than you think.

This was on a bridge at 30 mph and the snow had mostly melted the previous day and it was 30-40 out lol..... i have 3.73's so 1st goes to only 40

Below is an EXACT copy/pasta of what you posted on SVTP. It's even been posted once in this thread already. You WERE NOT stating how much power you would be making IN ADVANCE of your trip to TX. You clearly stated you were MAKING over 500 WHP already.

Quit your bullshit already Brandon, and go take a selfie 20,000 leagues under the sea wearing some concrete shoes.

Top out at 40MPH with 3.73 gears? Not much of a GM fanboi, but isn't 40 top end in 1st about normal? 3.55 gears in my Cobra, and 40 MPH is ******* screaming.

From his mods list, you can't be wrong on this! Any 500 claim would make me question all I've read here...

Yeah, but he's got an A4 with apparently a stock converter. Idonno what's really in it, but apparently it's a close to stock total setup, or I don't think it would be so slow...

Holy CRAP, bro! I don't believe I'd have used those words to describe this car you barely beat when showing the video of said car, running anywhere between a high 12 and a mid 14, particularly when the ONLY races it "won" were the ones in which there was NO OPPONENT!

Must've been a ridiculously long bridge!

Besides, I don't care of you started on a bridge because that's your fault. Plus, you should be able to "feather" your throttle to maintain the best possible traction. I doubt you had any real loss of traction once you reached 50mph. If so, you certainly need tires, or to stop racing in those conditions. Your current setup simply doesn't lend itself to spinning issues in that situation. I could understand it if you had 400+ rwhp, a lightened car, higher, not lower gears, a high stall conv. or any number of other "upgrades" which bring on these issues, but the way it sits, doesn't add up for me.

PS... I'd expect more than 40mph in 1st with a stock A4 and 3.73's. Then again, I used a 200-4r...

Nice parts you got there. What part of Tx you going to? I'm always down for some friendly runs.
