The arguement was related to a guy with a ported stock s/c, one with bolt ons, and a full bolt on 5.0 that wanted to run me.
To the cobra, take off your power adder and I'll take mine off.

Heh... Nice... Someone here recently pointed out about the LS1 being built so small as compared to the DOHC 4.6L and that we can't help it GM did so much better. By the same token, he can't help it GM failed to install a supercharger on your engine, but his came with it, so just race if you're gonna.
Besides, from the looks of this conversation, you clearly don't HAVE a power adder on your car anyway, so it looks like you may be in the losing column here.

What you're saying is the '03 - '04 Cobra isn't much of a car without the super charger. By your logic, this would also imply that cars like the ZR-1, ZL-1, CTS-V, Ford GT, GT500 just to name a few recent American units, aren't really fast. You wouldn't want to cast that stone at AMG too would you?
I would also take this as you discredit turbo cars as well?

Well then take off your extra cubic inches and lower your compression and put a 6 speed instead of a stalled auto!......is this real life?!?!?!

No dumb dumb I was making reference to a ported blower cobra who raced my friends nitrous trans am, the cobra wanted us to take the nitrous off.

Was the Cobra was asking for a run without juice, where's the problem? It's almost customary, in the name of fun, to run with and without spray just to see where things stack up.
Everyone knows that ported blower Cobras LOVE the sauce. With very little coin, he too could be running N2O. Choosing not to is up to the owner. Win, lose or draw, it's a decision we all make. Asking another car to run without it, since it can be turned off, is almost normal.
I actually prefer to have all of my power instantly, any time i want it. So no N2O for me.
Your childish antics don't lend much credibility to the story and make me think the things I've seen on TOS are founded.

I personally don't believe in running a car that "takes something off". If I can't beat the other car on full tilt kill mode, then it's not worth it. I wouldn't want to win a race, but say in the same sentence.. "But he would have won if he sprayed me"..... **** that. Run what you brung... if you are faster when we are done.. lets grab a beer and shake hands. No biggie to me.
