Soo... real queshun her'.

Say I got.. oh I don't know.. a 2000 WS6 roller chassis.... and.... say I decided to grab a junkyard 5.3... 07- motor. Annnd.... say I wanted to build the bottom end to handle 1500hp....turbocharged....

How much dat' motor gonna cost me? Figure on me assembling it myself on a stand. Just parts.

When you start getting into a built bottom end an LS is no cheaper than any other platform for a 1500 rwhp rotating assembly and heads/intake to support 1500 with machine work and parts

Probably around 10k in the motor I would assume for quality pieces that you won't have to worry about

Well damn. I guess its not cheap no matter which route you go. Would cost 10k or so to build the motor in my 500 too.

Thats why the 5.3 is so popular guys do LS9 gaskets, Head studs, Rod bolts and just wait for it to pop
