Well the video did say the Camaro made 10,000hp so does 9,250 qualify as WAY more?

Even with weight reduction kinda hard to get to mustang weight you can only shead off about 150lbs harder to drop more weight then that

Not sure on Campers but Diet coke it down around there with full interior still.

I remember this Camaro racing the Gt500 and them talking how it was pretty light for a 5th gen..

I think even the factory exhaust on the 5th gen is ridiculously heavy. rims, spare tire area, etc. not hard to shave some weight off those cars.

That is any car with what you listed. On my 5.0's a wheel change netted almost 100lbs its self. Exhaust was good for like 20+lbs getting rid of the cats alone. I got my manual down to 3530 with my 200lb *** in it pretty easy. Still had eat AC, stock seats, stock Kmember.

yes but I think the 5th gen exhaust is exceptionally heavy.

So is the 5th gen wheel/tire package. Goin to Mustang wheels on a 5th gen would be weight reduction...... Same with the clutch. 5th gens have a ton of potential if you look in the right places. They are starting to come into their own.

mine is 3480 full interior and half tank. Thats about as light as a 5th gen can get without gutting/cutting the car up. Would be in the high 33xx if I was NA. But blower +meth adds some weight

There are very few 5th gens that have the weight redux mods diet coke and I have. Id guess Mr.Torq to be in the 3700 range on his big & littles.

hes also probably making low 8xx WHP and has weight redux in the right places (driveshaft, wheels, etc.) and the mustang spun on the hit. Race went as expected. Torq would freight train that 5.slo even if he had traction because well... bad setups lose races.

there is no NOS on that car. Its a stock bottom end and would have popped already. Torq has a well setup 5th gen, always has.

overall power and weight dont win races my friend. Weight redux in the right places to go with power does..

and the power hes claiming falls in line with the mods as it is very similar to my wifes setup

That "stock" bottom end is not going to handle 815rwhp for long.
