A very wise man in the other thread told me if my car was good I could go from any speed. That's why I like to go from a speed no one wants.
Other than that I could car less if I W or L. Either way I'm sure it will be close and that's what makes it fun. When I raced BMX as a kid I remember the closest races......the ones I really had to work for.
Besides that if I would win the digs and he would win the rolls......I'll talk about winning the digs and he will talk about winning the rolls. Nothing gets solved.......no clear W or L. If your just into testing the car.....take it to the track. But as you can tell from the few dig races that gets posted........I'm always like "**** yea a dig race".
From the way it looks I'm already gonna be giving up tire on the dig anyway.

No I haven't... well.. nos? nah... 
But no, my last outing was rediculously bad on those tires. I should have never tried to run them. They are an "ok" 40- tire.. they stick decent.. but launching them is a waste of time. So according the SRK logic, my quickest et that day was 124mph. So I am a 124mph car. Hio should have nothing to worry about. 
??? Read the thread dummy. He wants the dig races. I am giving him those. I want 40 roll races. He doesn't want to give me 40 and is countering with 20. How is that not giving him HIS races? Go back and play with your wittle dirtbike kid. 
^ this. I can understand us doing a dig race by me calling Hio out IF we were local.. but comon.. I am driving 3hrs to do a race. It should at least be worth my while... 
The only reason I wanted to post that stuff is to make sure there is no confusion at the race AFTER driving 3 hours. I am a proactive type of person and like getting details out of the way ahead of time.
We gon do eet mang. Just have to figure out detail/timeframe/location etc.

i don't understand so many stipulations. its techinically (from what i'm reading) a friendly street race. Show up, BS, run'em, don't be an ***, and get some beers. In all fairness Hio, he is giving you what you're asking for. The decent thing to do would be to at least let him have his run since he's putting himself in an uncomfortable spot by running from a dig. But that's just me.

I've always tried to reserve rolls for impromptu street encounters.
Thats why I like running rolls. More likely to run into this type of situation in everyday driving. But I have setup roll races before too.. I just like them better.
So we both run out 4th in mid 130's.
Looks like it.. we can run out 4th gear both dig and roll
On the call out I always thought the dude being called out got his run. Maybe that's just me. At any rate me saying I'll do a 20 is the perfect compromise. I don't want it and he don't either.
Generally.. like I mentioned above.. if we were closer to each other I could see it. But this long drive for each of us.. it should be fun for both of us.. and dig only would not be fun for me.

I would LOVE to do the digs at VIR.. they have Test and tune weekend March 1st. But that is a 4.5 hr drive for me to get there, and driving that far, I will have to arrange a truck and trailer to bring it. Not driving to a dragstrip that far away and risk something breaking(I still have the stock 2 pc driveshaft and its rated for way under what I currently have.. need a 1 pc aluminum)

That might be best for everyone.. a meet at VIR would be cool as hell. Then after the test and tune, we could all go grab something to eat, get the roll races out of the way, and have a hangout and bullshit.
