It's tough, my good friend just got a GTR and has a few bolt ons with a tune and he took me for a little spin in it. That thing shifts so ******* fast and pulls so hard its almost to the point where you think it couldn't lose. Just a click of that paddle shifter you get a instant shift and the gears never stop pulling it just goes and goes. Plus it turns and stops just as hard as it accelerates.

My thought! And I keep mine from bogging like that. Still enjoyed the vid.

Look at that freaking wobble the Camaro has. Is that from the drag slicks?

You've got a manual car pulling the tires on a street with a fucked up tranny but he needs driver mod?

I'd say he's doing pretty good for what he has, especially he wasn't spraying.

I don't think you can blame him for the shifts if the trans went out in 2 races. LOL

You would think the cops would take the low hanging fruit(Camaro had slowed) then hope to get the GTR plate by enhancing the dash cam vid from thier car aqnd the Camaro's.

Guy looked like he had 7 inches of back fat. Couple that w/ the car pulling so hard he couldn't reach the pedals.

If u think that was quality driving.... then enough said. The car was the only reason it got where it did. Not the driving. Savage bogs....terribly slow shifts. But who am i to say... i cant shift to save my life...

If the car was setup for nitrous and he's not spraying, if he usually launches with it, is it not possible the car was bogging due to lack of power? You can see when he burned out the car was not wanting to spin the tires. Besides that he still got off the line quick, and quicker than the AWD GTR at that. He was shifting a fucked up tranny as per the video and still managed to pull on him, again apparently not spraying - and if he wasn't spraying he might have been just ******* around if he was really sandbagging anyways...so again, driver mod needed?

Are you really in a position to criticize someone for driver mod based on your times?

This is probably one of the best quality STREET race videos I've seen in quite some time. Serious props to that Camaro for hooking like that on the street.

I agree that the Camaro should have had an automatic tranny. Also, he could have lost the "Starsky and Hutch" paint job. Sometimes enough is too much.

It hasnt been to the track as it sits. But 1.75 on pirelli all seasons. and you? Also funny that everyone seems to say shifting is easy....yet 99 out of a hundred people seem to take a sip of coffee in between shifts...
