How can someone fudge the jetting on anything under a 175 shot on an efi car?

Not as simple as you make it sound. Remember it's all about how much effective mixture enters each cylinder (x8): nitrous jets are notoriously inaccurate even when comparing same size jets from same company, bottle pressures always vary, spray dispersion can vary jet to jet and can also vary depending upon air velocities as it goes through the intake manifold, etc. etc.

I've seen quite a few magazine tests of nitrous over the years where they encountered so many variations from vehicle to vehicle, kit to kit, jet to jet, and psi to psi that the mag editors always end up throwing there hands up in the air in frustration: where the last tests darling nitrous kit used on a LS1 4th gen was bottom dog on a 3 valve mod motor during a similiar comparison test a few months later, or where ir runs perfectly on that LS1 test but later on they use the same setup as a baseline for other mods and it underperforms. Or where a 100 shot gives 150rwhp gain, while a 150 shot gives "only" 150rwhp gain yet is proven to be a larger orifice when tested with a hole gauge.

I've bought many wet kits and done plenty of 150 size shots on your normal efi car and it was butter. No tune, pull some timing and go.

Must be considering the RT is around 1000lbs heavier than the foxbody.

Agreed. Weight does present a challenge to the Mopars but they do run good for the weight they have to move. That is somewhat why I was impressed with the ole Fox 5.0 in that it even stayed somewhat close however, if you look at the weight difference between the two, you could then understand why.
