Stock I am sure there is slight advantage to the 10 however once you start the mods it is essentially the same car.

Thanks guys, appreciate all the compliments!

Btw tire size was 245/50r16.
Just up the shift point a bit and let it run out the bank. A set of headers and a vid converter and it will run 11's. Finish it off to full bolt-on and a couple hundred lb of weight reduction (it's easy to get that out of it ) and you should run mid 11's pretty slick. You will send alot of cam cats packing if you do it right.

Dude even the mach guys on the furd forum did not believe your mph....... it's why you got booted from there.

That's once you change the clutch, harmonic balancer, rims, rear gears, toon and CAI. (might be more...)

Only then, are you on an even playing field with the 10.

I know the 10s had a CAI and a reprogrammed ECU for the 40 hp. Also gears like you said pretty sure they had 3.55s. For just 40hp its a day and night difference between the two cars.

Meh only the 07s had the heavy balancer. Once you do those mods on a 07-09 car it will be faster then a 10. Then the 10 will be playing catch up and need the same changes. So like I said once the mods start it is the same car. The 11-12 got the aluminum block and the 13-14s got the good stuff

I know derp. Maybe you should re read my post. The 10 is no better as far as performance unless you plan to leave the car stock.

I never once said that. Sounds like he spent the extra money on a 10 just to realize it is no faster then a 07 after mods. Poor islander

Quicker yes, faster probably not. He only went 135 once. Most of his passes are in the 130-134 range.
