Dyno #'s don't mean ****!! Specially through a stalled auto. My stock bottom end LS1 with H/C/I full weight went 10.90@123mph N/A car weighed 3680lbs with me in it at the time. I only dynoed at 420rwhp and 403 torque. My new motor only made 450rwhp before I pulled the MAS out and went S/D tune and it ran 10.39@130mph N/A car weighed 3540lbs with me in it.

Damn, Greddy can flat out shift. On the cam view on his fender it sounded like an auto lol. Also, this can't be a stock bottom end Slowbro, we all know they implode unless the are constantly iced and have 6 eons to cool down...it has nitrous too, oh no, it's a gonner for sure.
Damn good running Z you have SS. I dig it

Thanks guys! I know dyno numbers don't mean much, but I was just curious anyways. Greddy's car runs really good for what it is, and I think it would take one hell of a HCI to beat him! The bottle could be a different story though

Its similar to the texas speed tv2. I can actually make this car go a lot faster on the stock bottom end but my goal was met so it just sits until I'm done messing with my other car and then I'll build something for the camaro

Gotcha! It sure seems from all the vids i've seen that it takes the Cobra's at bit more hp than the Camaro's to even have a chance. Even though Greddy and I will weight about the same he will definitely have me on power

Weight plays a factor but A properly running full weight cobra should only need about 20 more hp to run with a full weight Camaro. I have witnessed it many times with my friend's cobra. His car runs Good and like its suppose to and he's done very well against Camaros. I think greddy will have too much power for you on motor but bottle to bottle should be a great race

Yeah I see a lot of people posting that a Cobra needs like 40-70 hp more to win, but i'm willing to bet that greddy's and my peak hp are very very close right now. Of course our total weight is similar too. I have to be at the right rpm as well, or he gets me everytime. On that last race that I posted I was at like 4.5-5k in 2nd when we started, and of course i tapped the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift lol.
There is no doubt that this 370ci LQ9 is more stout than my LS1. The ONLY downside is the added 100 lbs
