Yeah Y-pipe only = bus lengths. Since your bolt on LS1 runs high 11s acording to LS1 tech then that 5.0 must be in the low 11s, 10s with a tire.

The 11.7 @ 114 was with it bouncing off 3-4 limiter then shifting before the traps, it's not an accurate reflection of the speed of the car.

WSsick had a couple vids a couple years ago of new V6 stangs staying door to door with LS1s so this really...isn't...news...

Bawahahaha ...snake ******* up another thread with his dumb ****. Although I agree the new stang v6 is better than a a 3v or 2v it's still off the ls1 by quite a bit.

Some new people tuned his car, he has an sct handheld though.

He used to have bama, his car is a lot quicker than it used to be that is for sure.

Last time we raced I had a programmer, not a tune, and i came after him on the big end.

Heh... back in 1996, a local got a 96/97 Z and he had PRE ordered his tag for it... I think it was "50RSLOW" ...

In about 1 week, he had his *** handed to him enough that nitrous was installed. Of course, then it would run low 12's and in that era, that was good for a street car.
