After reading through 5 pages... I cannot see any 776whp Cobra being that close to any F-body under 500hp from a roll... If that car truly makes 776, it just doesn't look close to it. Indeed, from the video, it looks to me more like a 500hp car and THAT, I can see a sub-450whp 4th gen running with, for sure.

My 502whp car ran better 125 on a shakedown... a 776hp car... should easily trap over 135, even at Cobra weight. I'm seriously on the side of the Cobra simply isn't close to that power in reality.

Hopefully there's more between 6 and 7 about the joke we're missing...

 

^^^ I think you're right on with that. Cobra probably doesn't make 776rwhp and who knows what the TA is putting down because we aren't sure on the mods, or if he's spraying.

 

FWIW, 01ramair (Jared) on here raced my buddy's 770hp cobra at the track in February. The cobra at full weight minus skinnies went 141mph slow shifting.

 

776rwhp Cobra is close to 140 traps and more so with weight reduction.

OK, the cobra is full weight with a 300lb camera man i weigh 160. It does make the claimed power, no doubt. I was shifting very easy as to not break anything. So easy that it didnt go into 4th on the second run. Manny's car is no joke. Runs good. How else do you think it was so close?

Personally, I like his car and have said from the start, it WILL run... on the juice specifically. Still... He said this was a no juice run and that leaves him around 300 HORSEPOWER SHORT... You have no excuse for such a slow car, considering the hp you're claiming.

Next time, invest in GO PRO and let the fat man watch from the street corner... you can trust nobody's gonna come by and pick him up while he waits...
