Yup, built it so I had room to grow, started low and ill work my way up.
I want to spin it to 7k but on the dyno graph hp levels off and tq starts to fall off. I would have to get that straightened out before I spin it more. It makes 645 torque from 5k to when I shift so basiclly the entire gear on a roll race.

Thanks guys. Yea I'll be brining it to the track once. Just want to see what it traps, don't care what it runs for time, I don't want to break anything launching it hard. Just want to enjoy it this year. Next year I'm thinking about putting a cage in and building the rear/trans.

yea right now it has the stage 3 cam from arun. i love how it drives so i really dont want to change it. car drives like stock, no surge etc. i can bog in 6th on the highway 1000rpm with no surging.
and yea, i have the c6z rear but if im going to be launching the car im going to send it out for output shafts. with how hard the car hooks it would need it from a dig.

yea right now it has the stage 3 cam from arun. i love how it drives so i really dont want to change it. car drives like stock, no surge etc. i can bog in 6th on the highway 1000rpm with no surging.

On the launching, the question becomes, having C5 axles already, at what power level do we need to upgrade to DSS axles?

from what ive read people say the c5 axles are stronger then the c6 axles and they are not really a weak link. obviously everything gets weak over time, but by the sounds of it its not worth spending $3k on axles if your not going to be launching the car hard all of the time.
on another note, im going to run my friends 2013? i think it is gsxr1000 tomorrow just for fun, he is a good rider so ill get walked hard i think but its all in fun. i told him put it in c mode for one race lol

No, 60 will not help him. At all. It'll only make it worse. Having ZR1 gearing you can be in second, not shift input until 90+, and then it only gets worse for him. BTW, you've got a ton more in it! 6400 isn't much of a strain; folks up there better watch out for your Vette

Gotcha, but it'll work the same way for him.
You're subie runs strong, it's just not a match for the Vette. He's just as light, w/ an additional 230wheel. If he took you in first, it's not going to get better in 2nd.
