Honestly we have a local..just in mild testing has gone in the 160's imo pretty easily...he turned it up a hair...it's going in the upper 70's now(i think 177) and still has more in it.
67mm turbo's on a V8....no joke.

Pretty much. Car was on gate pressure, literally the first time it's ever been street raced. The 2800 stall hurts that car the most, only 331 cubes and an 88mm turbo needs some assistance, more along the lines of a 3600-4000 stall would make it totally different car as well as some newer engine management which is coming very shortly.

He should have put a better trans in the car. At the power levels that Z06 is at, a 6 speed or a Built factory trans isn't gonna cut it. It may get a few good passes out and then it would need to get pulled out and fixed again.

See the picture below for what broke, I don't know Corvettes so you tell me what happened!
Has previously. Then was laid up for two years, getting some kinks ironed out, if they get the transbrake fixed it'll be at the arm drop event this Saturday at SAR.

That's crazy to break a 3.5" DSS billet shaft like that.... Especially on the street spinning...

If that Mustang were mine, I'd pull the C4 out and put a Glide in it.
All the local turbo Fox Body guys run Glides, they are better suited when you're making a bunch of power.
